Jen McKenzie is a Boca Raton native who holds a BA in English. She spent the first eight years of her career as a recruiter, traveling extensively and interviewing candidates on college campuses throughout the country.

In 2004, Jen began tutoring students for the SAT/ACT and assisting with college essays. As the demand for her expertise grew exponentially, she founded Milestone to provide high-quality test preparation and college advising services.

Over the last 15 years, Jen has established Milestone as one of Boca’s premier test preparation agencies, specializing in SAT and ACT prep, tutoring, and college admissions guidance. With a team of highly qualified advisors, tutors, and coaches, Milestone has helped hundreds of students and their families navigate the increasingly competitive college admissions process and find their best fit school. Jen believes that the college admissions process is not just about getting into college but also about developing the critical thinking, communication, organizational, and self-advocacy skills that will help students thrive in college and beyond.

Jen is also a vetted Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and has completed the Certificate Program in Counseling at UCLA. In addition to her private practice, Jen is an instructor in UC-Berkeley Extension’s Professional Program in College Admission Counseling, where she helps train aspiring college counselors. An avid learner, she continues her professional development through IECA and SACAC (The Southern Association of College Admission Counseling) and tours several colleges each year.
