Emilia is originally from Los Angeles and recently moved to Boca Raton in 2024 to attend Florida Atlantic University. She is currently pursuing her B.S. in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry.

Once she started college, she realized she missed engaging with math at the level she was used to, which led her to tutoring as a way to stay sharp and share that passion with others. She has been tutoring since she began college, and what started as a way to stay engaged has grown into a genuine love for teaching. She is especially passionate about helping students truly understand the material, rather than just memorize it.

Outside of school and tutoring, she enjoys staying active through cycling and ice skating. She also loves spending time with her dog, Toby, whether that’s at the park or by the beach.
