Jason Schachner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton in August 2019. Jason’s career in education began early, serving as a Mathematics Specialist and Chief Assistant at Kumon Learning Center in Lake Worth from 2013 to 2020, where he coordinated daily operations and provided academic support for K-12 students in math and writing. Post graduation, Jason has held numerous roles as a subject-matter expert and content creator for major educational organizations, including Accelerate Education, where he developed lessons, assessments, and videos for middle and high school math; The Princeton Review, where he co-wrote the 2024 AP Calculus 1A and Pre-Algebra Book 3 textbooks; and LearningMate, designing online geometry and calculus curricula for higher education. He has also aligned curricula to different state standards for companies like CSA Education and Wisewire, created AI mathematics training assessments for e2f, inc., and served as a math content specialist for Math Nation and others.
Jason believes in creating clear, supportive environments that reduce stress and encourage independent problem-solving for better outcomes on exams like the ACT and SAT. In his spare time, Jason stays connected to the South Florida community and continues exploring innovative ways to make math accessible, inspired by his extensive background in curriculum design, lesson creation, and assessment writing.
