Alexander Ioncescu, also affectionately known at Milestone as “Alex”, was born & raised in Coral Springs, Florida and attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. His family immigrated from Romania and his first language was actually Romanian. Alexander attended FAU in Boca Raton and graduated with a Bachelor’s Cum Laude in Mathematics.

A natural when it comes to the profession, Alexander’s first job position was as a tutor. He tutored his very first student through Chegg when he was 17 years old, and he has been tutoring ever since!

Alexander joined Milestone in 2018. What he loves the most about the company is the ability to watch his students grow with each and every session! Alexander says he enjoys not only teaching his students math, but teaching them analytical skills to develop the capability of working through complex problems independently. For Alex, seeing them achieve this is extremely rewarding.

A fun fact about Alex is that he was able to solve an 11×11 Rubik’s Cube at the age of 10!
