Christina Assal joined Milestone in 2019 as a College Advisor. Prior to Milestone, Christina worked as an Assistant Director of Admission for the Honors College at FAU in Jupiter. Christina also worked in South Florida as a Senior Associate of College Planning in public and private high schools. Christina received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida. Specifically, Christina earned an English degree with a focus on writing and communications and a graduate degree in Social Science. In 2013, Christina gained a specialized certificate in College Counseling at the University of California, San Diego. Christina is currently a member of both SACAC and IECA and through professional workshops and ongoing education she continues to build upon her vast knowledge of admissions trends, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid options. Furthermore, Christina has traveled extensively to visit college campuses across the United States and internationally. Christina works with a wide variety of students from those with unique talents such as artists and athletes as well as students with learning differences. Furthermore, she works with students who are applying to graduate school specifically law school, social sciences, English, creative writing, communications, and Ed Leadership. Christina is a South Florida native and mother of two who likes to travel and learn new languages.
